Crimson Club Casino Arena, Atlantic City, NJ
12th April 2025
[The camera fades in to a roaring Atlantic City crowd as fireworks blast across the entrance stage. The iconic PV Uprising theme music hits, and the lights swirl around the Crimson Club Casino Arena. We cut to the commentary desk, where Zac Brindle and Johnny Kaos are standing by, hyped and ready to go.]
Zac Brindle:
“Welcome everyone to PV Uprising 117, coming to you live from the legendary Crimson Club Casino Arena in Atlantic City, New Jersey! I’m Zac Brindle—”
Johnny Kaos:
“—and I’m Johnny Kaos, and folks, the fallout from Deadly Habits is far from over! We are in for one hell of a night!”
Zac Brindle:
“You’re absolutely right, partner. Last week we were rocked when Elijah Drake revealed himself as the man behind the cowardly backstage attacks on both Adam Garcia and Masafumi Satake—costing Garcia his chance to hold the PV Heavyweight Title for a full year!”
Johnny Kaos:
“The shock! The betrayal! The legend snapped—and we still don’t know why he did it!”
Zac Brindle:
“Tonight, while Drake remains radio silent, Masafumi Satake is demanding clarity. He’s the champion now, and he wants to know who’s next in line—he’s looking toward the future, but that future may be shaped by the upcoming Ascension Tournament.”
Johnny Kaos:
“Speaking of shaping the future, the alliance between Henry Steele and the so-called ‘Blonde Bombshell’ Cherry Bordeaux has turned into one of the most dangerous in PV right now. Steele’s in action later tonight against Teddy Rush, and you can bet Bordeaux will be lurking.”
Zac Brindle:
“Plus, the TV Championship is on the line as the new champ Bernard Wolfe defends against the unpredictable Boyd Jackson—and in our main event, ‘The Standard’ Dash Diaz looks to shake off the sting of betrayal when he goes one-on-one with ‘Iron Heart’ Caleb Knox!”
Johnny Kaos:
“And let’s not forget the opening tag match—Masters of the Mat take on Steven Love and Chopper Anderson, both of whom are still hungry for a spot in the Ascension tournament!”
Zac Brindle:
“Strap in, fight fans—it’s going to be a wild ride tonight on PV Uprising 117! Let’s get to the action!”
[The camera pans over the excited crowd as the first competitors begin to make their entrance.]

Who’s Next?
The heavy arena doors swing open as the new PV Heavyweight Champion Masafumi Satake steps into the building, the title belt slung proudly over his shoulder. He looks calm, collected, and focused—despite the chaotic events of the past week. Just a few steps in, he’s greeted by Elena Cruz, mic in hand and camera crew in tow.
Elena Cruz:
“Masafumi! Champ! First of all, congratulations again on your victory at Deadly Habits. But I have to ask—now that we all know Elijah Drake was the man behind the attacks on both you and Adam Garcia… what are your thoughts?”
Satake pauses, adjusting the belt on his shoulder and letting out a slow breath.
Masafumi Satake:
“I was shocked. Like everyone else. I never expected that from someone like Drake. But… that’s not my fight. Adam Garcia—he’s earned the right to handle Drake however he sees fit. I won’t stand in his way.”
He pauses again, his eyes narrowing slightly with intensity.
Masafumi Satake:
“But I am the PV Heavyweight Champion now. And that means I don’t wait in the shadows—I face my challengers head-on. Tonight, I want to know who’s stepping up next. So I’m going to find James Von Drake, and I’m going to get that answer.”
Satake gives Cruz a respectful nod before walking off down the corridor, championship gleaming under the lights as he heads toward the GM’s office with purpose.
Elena Cruz (to camera):
“Masafumi Satake wants answers—and he’s not waiting around to get them. Back to you guys at ringside!”
The camera fades as Satake disappears around the corner.

Send a Message
The camera fades in to reveal Henry Steele—the silent, hulking brute known as the Steel Fortress—methodically taping his fists in preparation for his upcoming match. His cold, intense eyes stare forward, laser-focused. Behind him, leaning casually against a locker with a confident smile, is the flirty and cunning Cherry Bordeaux. She twirls a strand of her platinum-blonde hair as she watches Steele, her tone playful but laced with a wicked edge.
Cherry Bordeaux:
“Mmm… look at you. Calm, collected, terrifying. Just how I like it.”
Steele doesn’t respond. He simply tightens the tape around his wrist and cracks his knuckles.
Cherry Bordeaux:
“Teddy Rush? Please. He’s not even in your weight class, baby. And after what you did to Dash last week, the only thing Teddy’s rushing toward is a stretcher.”
She walks around in front of him, running a finger across the chest of his sleeveless hoodie.
Cherry Bordeaux:
“Remember what we talked about… don’t just beat him. Break him. Make an example out of him. Let the whole locker room see what happens when they try to play hero.”
Steele slowly rises to his feet, towering over her. Cherry looks up with a sly smile, then plants a kiss on his cheek before stepping back.
Cherry Bordeaux (with a wink):
“I’ll be waiting ringside, big man. Make me proud.”
Steele gives a slow, almost imperceptible nod before storming out of the locker room, leaving Cherry grinning like a devil in diamonds as the camera fades to black.

The Answer to Why
The camera cuts to the backstage interview zone where Elena Cruz stands with microphone in hand, alongside the intense and driven Caleb Knox, “Iron Heart” himself. Knox has his fists taped, his eyes burning with focus ahead of tonight’s main event.
Elena Cruz:
“Caleb, last week the entire wrestling world was stunned when Elijah Drake was revealed as the man behind the attacks on Adam Garcia and Masafumi Satake. What’s your take on what happened?”
Knox scoffs slightly, adjusting the collar of his jacket.
Caleb Knox:
“You’re asking the wrong question, Elena. Don’t ask why Elijah Drake snapped… ask who made him snap. And that answer is right here.”
He taps his chest with a closed fist.
Caleb Knox:
“I beat Elijah Drake at Deadly Habits and shattered whatever illusion he had left of being a so-called ‘legend.’ I showed him the truth — that he doesn’t have it anymore. That he never had the killer instinct. And that truth? It broke him.”
Elena Cruz:
“But Drake isn’t here tonight. Many expected him to address what he did—”
Caleb Knox (cutting her off):
“Of course he’s not here. Because he’s still a coward. Legends don’t hide. Legends don’t jump people in the dark. And legends don’t vanish the week after they get exposed. Elijah’s finished, and deep down… he knows it.”
Knox takes a deep breath, then cracks a confident smirk.
Caleb Knox:
“But I’ve got bigger things on my mind tonight. Dash Diaz? He’s tough, sure. He’s got heart. But tonight, I’m gonna treat him like a warm-up set at the gym. And then next week…”
He points to the camera.
Caleb Knox:
“I enter the Ascension tournament. And when the dust settles, it won’t be Elijah Drake, or Adam Garcia, or anyone else… it’ll be me, standing face-to-face with Masafumi Satake, ready to take that PV Heavyweight Championship.”
Elena Cruz:
“Strong words from ‘Iron Heart’ Caleb Knox — back to you at ringside.”
Knox stares directly into the lens, his jaw clenched with intensity, as the screen fades out.

The Obsession
The crowd at the Crimson Club Casino Arena is on their feet as Bernard Wolfe, still catching his breath, stands tall in the center of the ring. He raises the PV TV Championship high above his head, a satisfied smile on his face after a hard-fought defense against Boyd Jackson.
The referee holds up Wolfe’s arm and hands him the title, while the fans chant:
Crowd:
“WAY-WARD! WAY-WARD! WAY-WARD!”
Wolfe nods, soaking in the atmosphere. He climbs to the second turnbuckle, holding the gold high once again, as confetti flutters from the ceiling in celebration of his first successful title defense.
But the moment is abruptly interrupted as the arena lights dim slightly and the opening riff of Midas’ music hits.
BOOOOOOOO!!!
Stepping onto the stage is the former TV Champion Midas, dressed in all black, his expression stone-cold. By his side, as always, is the calculating and poised Katya Roux, who glares daggers toward the ring. Midas folds his arms, staring directly at Wolfe—his eyes locked on the title that once belonged to him.
Wolfe turns, spotting the duo. The celebration slows. He lowers his title belt to his side, then slowly raises it again—this time while keeping his eyes on Midas.
The crowd buzzes with anticipation as the tension rises.
Zac Brindle (on commentary):
“That’s no congratulatory visit, Johnny. Midas is out here sending a message loud and clear—he wants that TV Championship back!”
Johnny Kaos:
“And after the way Wolfe took it from him at Deadly Habits? You knew this was coming. That man is a walking grudge with a golden obsession.”
Katya Roux steps slightly in front of Midas, pointing down at Wolfe and shouting inaudible words as Midas remains eerily silent. Finally, Wolfe lifts the belt one more time in defiance, and the fans roar their approval.
Crowd:
“WOLFE! WOLFE! WOLFE!”
The staredown continues as the screen fades to black, the challenge silently—but unmistakably—laid out.

Don’t Forget, Don’t Forgive
The camera cuts to the backstage interview area where Elena Cruz stands with microphone in hand, flanked by a focused and serious-looking Dash Diaz. “The Standard” is dressed in his ring gear, moments away from his main event clash with Caleb Knox. There’s no trace of a smile on his face—just that trademark intensity.
Elena Cruz:
“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with ‘The Standard’ Dash Diaz, who is just moments away from tonight’s main event against Caleb Knox. But Dash, before we get to that, I have to ask—at Deadly Habits, you were betrayed in shocking fashion by Cherry Bordeaux. What’s going through your mind now, a few weeks removed from that moment?”
Dash Diaz: (sighs, nods slowly)
“Yeah… betrayal stings. No other way to put it. I gave Cherry everything—I protected her, had her back through all the madness with Henry Steele. But when it mattered most… she drove that steel chair straight through my trust. That kind of betrayal? You don’t forget it. You don’t forgive it.”
Elena Cruz:
“And now tonight, you go one-on-one with Caleb Knox—who many are calling one of the most dangerous rising stars in PV. How are you preparing for this challenge, knowing the kind of momentum Knox has right now?”
Dash Diaz: (eyes narrowing)
“I know exactly who Caleb Knox is. I’ve watched what he did to Elijah Drake. I’ve heard every word he’s said about killer instinct. But Caleb’s forgetting something—I’ve been here longer than he has. I’ve bled for this ring. And if he thinks he’s going to use me as some warm-up for the Ascension tournament, he’s got another thing coming.”
Elena Cruz:
“Speaking of Ascension, the tournament kicks off next week—how confident are you heading into it, considering everything that’s happened?”
Dash Diaz: (pauses, looks down for a moment, then back at Cruz)
“I’ve been knocked down before. I’ve been betrayed, overlooked, underestimated. But every single time—I get back up. I am the standard. And I don’t care who’s in that tournament—Caleb Knox, Elijah Drake, even whoever walks out with the PV Heavyweight Championship… I’m coming for it. One win at a time.”
Diaz adjusts the tape on his wrists, then locks eyes with the camera.
Dash Diaz:
“Tonight’s just the beginning.”
He walks off, leaving Cruz watching after him, the tension building as the main event draws near.
Elena Cruz:
“Strong words from Dash Diaz… the main event is up next!”
Camera fades out.

Le Deuxième Acte
The crowd inside the Crimson Club Casino Arena is buzzing as the lights dim and the heavy, deliberate beat of Masafumi Satake’s theme music hits the speakers. The PV Heavyweight Champion makes his way to the ring, title over his shoulder, expression calm and resolute. The fans rise to their feet, applauding the proud warrior as he steps between the ropes, soaking in the moment.
Satake takes a microphone from the ringside assistant and stands center-ring as the music fades.
Masafumi Satake:
“Last week… was chaos.”
The crowd murmurs in agreement.
Masafumi Satake:
“Adam Garcia and I were both attacked before our match. Elijah Drake showed his true colors. And in the end, I stood here—PV Heavyweight Champion. But tonight… I don’t want to talk about the past. I want to talk about the future. I want to know who will step up. I want to know who is next.”
The crowd starts to cheer, chanting “Sa-ta-ke! Sa-ta-ke!” but their chant is cut short by an unfamiliar but grandiose orchestral tune that begins to echo through the arena.
The lights flash gold and blue as the name JEAN LOUIS DUVAL appears on the screen. The crowd erupts in shocked jeers as the IPWA International Heavyweight Champion, the cocky French technician, Jean Louis Duval, struts onto the stage, clad in a designer suit with the IPWA title slung around his waist. He carries a microphone in one hand, and a document in the other.
Satake’s face drops as Duval begins to saunter down the ramp, grinning like he owns the place.
Jean Louis Duval:
“Bonsoir, Project Violence! Allow me to formally reintroduce myself… I am Jean Louis Duval, the greatest technical wrestler in the world… and as of this evening, I am now officially the newest member of the Project Violence roster!”
The crowd boos loudly as Duval steps into the ring, ignoring them completely as he straightens his suit.
Jean Louis Duval:
“Moments ago, I left the office of Monsieur James Von Drake, and in my hand is a contract—signed and stamped—guaranteeing not only my transfer from Dynasty Wrestling… but also… a PV Heavyweight Championship Match at the Ascension PPV!”
He holds the paper high, soaking in the reaction. Satake looks stunned, his jaw tightening as the crowd boos even louder.
Jean Louis Duval:
“Satake… mon ami… how poetic is this? First, I take your IPWA International Heavyweight Championship, and now? Now I have come to take your crown here in PV as well. The world will watch as Jean Louis Duval humbles you… again.“
Duval gets uncomfortably close, smirking right into Satake’s face.
Satake steps forward, raising his mic, his voice low and steady:
Masafumi Satake:
“You beat me once. That was then. This… is now.”
The two champions stare each other down as the crowd rumbles with anticipation. The tension is thick. Satake raises the PV Heavyweight Championship high in the air between them as the camera pulls back.
The final shot of Uprising 117: two champions face to face, with Ascension now firmly on the horizon…
FADE TO BLACK.
