DW Clash 55
Live on the Sanctioned Violence Network
The Stratford Arena, London, England
23rd December 2024
[The camera pans across the lively Stratford Arena in East London, where the packed crowd is buzzing with excitement for the final DW Clash before the highly anticipated Collision Course PPV. The signature pyro display lights up the stage as the fans cheer loudly. The camera transitions to the commentary desk, where Steve Pringle and Eddie Bates are ready to break down tonight’s action.]
Steve Pringle:
“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to DW Clash 55! We are live from the Stratford Arena here in East London, and tonight is the last stop before the blockbuster Collision Course PPV next week!”
Eddie Bates:
“That’s right, Steve! The stakes couldn’t be higher, and tensions are boiling over as we get closer to what promises to be one of the most explosive nights in DW history. But first, we’ve got an incredible card lined up for you tonight!”
Steve Pringle:
“In our main event, the DW Heavyweight Champion Angelo Anderson will step into the ring against the #1 contender for the DW UK Championship, ‘The Gentlemen’ Geoffrey Hobbs! Will the champ send a message to his Collision Course opponent Cedric Thornfield, or will Hobbs prove he’s ready for the gold himself?”
Eddie Bates:
“Plus, we’ve got a huge six-man tag team match as Legion—Jean Louis Duval, Royce Lacroix, and HyperNova—take on the Irish brawler Liam O’Donovan and the rising team of The Sovereign. Can O’Donovan and his allies withstand the chaos Legion brings to the ring?”
Steve Pringle:
“And let’s not forget the singles action! ‘The Essex Pretty Boy’ Oliver Harrington squares off against Leo Lewis, Emily Shaw takes on Union Jack, and Stijn De Raaf looks to outlast Riley Smith in what’s sure to be a technical showcase.”
Eddie Bates:
“Every match tonight has implications for next week’s Collision Course, Steve. Alliances will be tested, rivalries will intensify, and momentum is everything. The Stratford Arena is electric tonight!”
Steve Pringle:
“So settle in, folks, because DW Clash 55 starts right now!”
[The camera cuts to the entrance ramp as the first match is set to begin.]

Show Stealer
[The scene transitions back to the ring where ‘The Essex Pretty Boy’ Oliver Harrington is basking in the glow of his victory over Leo Lewis. Harrington smirks as he wipes sweat from his brow, raising his arms to a chorus of boos from the Stratford Arena crowd. He snatches a microphone from ringside.]
Oliver Harrington:
“Another night, another win for the prettiest man in wrestling! Let’s be honest, none of you thought that twit Leo Lewis stood a chance against me. Face it, I’m the star of this show, and soon enough, everyone will—”
[Before Harrington can finish his sentence, the arena erupts into boos as ‘The Viking’ Bjorn Asulf’s thunderous theme music hits. The hulking, angry figure of Asulf storms down the ramp, his face contorted with rage. Harrington looks annoyed as his celebration is interrupted.]
Oliver Harrington:
“Oi! What the hell do you think you’re doing? This is my moment!”
[Asulf climbs into the ring, snatching the microphone out of Harrington’s hand without a word. He turns to the entrance ramp, his voice booming over the crowd’s noise.]
Bjorn Asulf:
“Matt Anarchy! Get out here now! I want to know who you’ve got for me at Collision Course! I’m not waiting another minute to find out what poor fool you’ve lined up to face ‘The Viking’!”
[Harrington, furious at being upstaged, shoves Asulf.]
Oliver Harrington:
“Listen, you brute, no one interrupts Oliver Harrington! I don’t care who you’re yelling for, this is my time!”
[Asulf glares at Harrington, then shoves him back with enough force to send Harrington stumbling into the ropes. The crowd erupts as Harrington charges back at Asulf, and the two men begin to trade blows in the center of the ring!]
[Security rushes down the ramp to separate the two, struggling to keep the brawl contained. Harrington kicks and yells at Asulf, while Asulf roars in frustration, pushing back against the guards holding him.]
Bjorn Asulf:
“Anarchy! You better fix this, or I’ll make everyone in DW regret it!”
[Harrington, held back by security, sneers at Asulf.]
Oliver Harrington:
“You want a fight, Viking? You’re on!”
**[The tension is palpable as the crowd roars. The scene fades with the two men being escorted out of the ring, both seething.

Breakout
[Backstage, William Smith is standing by in the interview area with ‘The Dutch Destroyer,’ Stijn De Raaf. De Raaf, dressed in his ring gear and a black leather jacket, exudes confidence as he towers over William, arms crossed and a smug smirk on his face.]
William Smith:
“Stijn De Raaf, tonight you face Riley Smith, a competitor many say has the potential to be one of DW’s breakout stars. Your thoughts heading into this match?”
[De Raaf scoffs and leans into the microphone.]
Stijn De Raaf:
“Breakout star? Riley Smith is nothing but an overhyped, talentless American fool. He has no discipline, no technique, and no business stepping into the ring with someone like me. I’m a destroyer, William. I don’t just beat my opponents—I break them. Riley Smith? He’s not even a challenge.”
[The crowd reacts with boos as De Raaf sneers arrogantly. Suddenly, off-camera, a voice cuts through the noise.]
Riley Smith (off-camera):
“Is that right?”
[The camera pans over to reveal Riley Smith walking into the frame, his trademark determined expression on his face. Dressed in his ring gear and a DW-branded hoodie, Smith steps right up to De Raaf, unfazed by the size difference.]
Riley Smith:
“You’ve got a lot to say, Stijn. Let’s see if you can back it up in the ring tonight. Or are you just all talk?”
[De Raaf smirks, looking down at Riley with disdain.]
Stijn De Raaf:
“Careful, kid. You don’t want to provoke me. I might end your so-called career before it even starts.”
Riley Smith:
“Big words. Let’s see if you’ve got the guts to say them after I pin you in that ring.”
[The two men square off, the tension thick in the air as William Smith awkwardly steps back, microphone still in hand.]
William Smith:
“Uh, gentlemen, save it for the match—”
[Neither man acknowledges William as they continue their staredown, the crowd buzzing with anticipation. After a long moment, De Raaf chuckles darkly and steps back, shaking his head.]
Stijn De Raaf:
“I’ll see you out there, kid. Bring your best—it won’t be enough.”
[De Raaf walks off, leaving Riley standing tall, his determined gaze locked on the departing Dutchman.]
Riley Smith (to himself):
“We’ll see about that.”
[The segment ends with Riley turning toward the ring, ready to prove himself against The Dutch Destroyer.]

The Warm Up
[Backstage, Geoffrey Hobbs, ‘The Gentleman,’ is in the locker room lacing up his boots and throwing a few shadow punches as he warms up for his big match against DW Heavyweight Champion Angelo Anderson later tonight. The door opens, and DW UK Champion Jonathan Sullivan steps in, championship belt slung casually over his shoulder.]
Jonathan Sullivan:
“Big night tonight, Geoff. Angelo Anderson isn’t exactly a pushover, but I know you’ve got what it takes to handle him.”
[Hobbs looks up, offering Sullivan a small smile as he adjusts his wrist tape.]
Geoffrey Hobbs:
“Appreciate that, mate. And, yeah, last week against Thornfield didn’t exactly go my way, but I learned a few things. Angelo? He’s tough, but he’s just another step on my way to bigger things.”
[Sullivan leans against the lockers, a grin tugging at the corners of his mouth.]
Jonathan Sullivan:
“Bigger things, huh? You mean me and this?”
[Sullivan pats the DW UK Championship on his shoulder, his tone teasing but with an edge of seriousness. Hobbs chuckles, standing up and rolling his shoulders.]
Geoffrey Hobbs:
“That’s exactly what I mean. Don’t get too comfortable with that belt, Jonathan. Come Collision Course next week, it’ll look a lot better around my waist.”
[Sullivan smirks, shaking his head.]
Jonathan Sullivan:
“Friendly rivalry or not, don’t underestimate me, Geoff. That belt didn’t come easy, and it’s not going anywhere without one hell of a fight.”
[Hobbs steps closer, meeting Sullivan’s gaze with a confident grin.]
Geoffrey Hobbs:
“Wouldn’t have it any other way, mate. But first, I’ve got to handle business tonight. Angelo Anderson’s got all the power, but I’ve got the finesse to take him down. Consider it a preview of what I’ll do to you next week.”
[The two men share a laugh, but the competitive tension is palpable. Sullivan pats Hobbs on the shoulder.]
Jonathan Sullivan:
“Go out there and give him hell, Geoff. Show him why you’re next in line for this.”
[Hobbs nods, the grin never leaving his face.]
Geoffrey Hobbs:
“Count on it.”
[Sullivan exits the locker room, leaving Hobbs to finish his warm-up, the confidence of a future champion radiating from him as the camera fades.]
Six Man Tag Team Match
Legion vs. Liam O’Donovan & The Sovereign
Ringside
Next Week
[The bell rings, signaling the end of the match as Liam O’Donovan and The Sovereign celebrate their victory in the center of the ring. Royce Lacroix and HyperNova retreat to the outside, looking frustrated, but Jean Louis Duval remains in the ring, his face twisted in anger.]
Steve Pringle (commentary):
“Liam O’Donovan and The Sovereign pull off a big win tonight, but Duval looks like he’s ready to explode!”
[Duval snatches a microphone from ringside and paces the ring, glaring at O’Donovan.]
Jean Louis Duval:
“Enough of this nonsense! O’Donovan, you got lucky tonight. You surrounded yourself with allies to hide your weaknesses. But next week, there won’t be anyone to help you. No Sovereign, no backup. Just you and me, one-on-one!”
[The crowd roars as Duval steps closer to O’Donovan, pointing a finger at him aggressively.]
Jean Louis Duval:
“I’m tired of your fluke wins, your pathetic attempts to act like you belong at my level. At Collision Course, I’m going to expose you for the fraud that you are and put an end to this charade!”
[Liam O’Donovan, still catching his breath, signals for a microphone of his own. He steps forward, standing toe-to-toe with Duval, a defiant smirk on his face.]
Liam O’Donovan:
“Duval, you’ve got a lot to say for someone who just got his backside handed to him. But if you’re so desperate to go one-on-one with me, I’ll happily knock you down a peg next week. Just be ready, because at Collision Course, I’ll show you why I don’t need backup to take you out.”
[The crowd erupts as O’Donovan drops his microphone, staring down Duval. The two men exchange heated words as HyperNova and Lacroix try to pull Duval back, while The Sovereign steps in to support O’Donovan.]
Eddie Bates (commentary):
“It looks like we’ve got another explosive match lined up for Collision Course! Liam O’Donovan versus Jean Louis Duval—this one’s going to be personal!”
[The camera lingers on the intense standoff in the ring as the fans cheer, setting the stage for a high-stakes showdown next week.]

One More Time
[Backstage, the camera pans to British Hospitality—Alexander Hate and Harry Black—storming down a corridor, their DW UK Tag Team Championship belts slung over their shoulders. They reach the door marked “General Manager Matt Anarchy” and push it open without knocking.]
Matt Anarchy:
“Gentlemen!” [He leans back in his chair, arms spread wide, a smirk on his face.] “To what do I owe this unannounced visit? Shouldn’t you be out celebrating your championship dominance?”
Alexander Hate:
“Cut the small talk, Anarchy. We’re here because Kyle McRae and Angus Blackhart aren’t getting away with what they pulled last week.”
Harry Black:
“Yeah. We’ve already beaten them twice, but that sneak attack in the hallway? That was personal. We want them in the ring again next week.”
Matt Anarchy:
[Leaning forward, his smirk growing.] “You want another match with McRae and Blackhart? Even after proving yourselves time and again that you’re the better team?”
Alexander Hate:
“Damn right we do. This isn’t just about the belts anymore. This is about respect, and they need to learn some.”
Harry Black:
“And we’re the ones who are going to teach them.”
Matt Anarchy:
[Clapping his hands together as if entertained by their passion.] “Alright, alright, I like your fire. I’ll give you the match. British Hospitality versus McRae and Blackhart, one more time… but…” [He pauses, letting the suspense hang.] “It’s going to be for the DW UK Tag Team Championships.“
[The room falls silent for a beat as Hate and Black exchange a glance.]
Alexander Hate:
“You’re serious? After everything we’ve done, we’ve got to put the belts on the line again?”
Matt Anarchy:
“That’s the deal, boys. You want revenge? You’ve got it. But around here, championships mean everything, and if you want to settle this score, the stakes have to be high. So, what’s it going to be?”
Harry Black:
[Steps forward, fire in his eyes.] “Fine. You want the belts on the line? You’ve got it. But after we beat them again, don’t expect us to entertain any more rematches. We’ll finish this for good next week.”
Matt Anarchy:
[Grinning widely.] “Now that’s the attitude of champions. I’ll make it official—next week, British Hospitality versus Kyle McRae and Angus Blackhart, DW UK Tag Team Championships on the line. May the best team win.”
[Hate and Black turn and leave the office, their determination evident as the camera follows them down the hallway.]
Alexander Hate:
“This time, it’s not just about winning. It’s about making them regret ever stepping up to us.”
Harry Black:
“Let’s end this once and for all.”
[The camera fades out as the champions stride confidently toward the locker room area.]

Top of the Mountain
[The bell rings as Angelo Anderson raises his arm in victory, standing tall over Geoffrey Hobbs, who lies motionless in the corner after a grueling match. The DW Heavyweight Champion grabs his title belt from the referee and holds it aloft, basking in the boos from the Stratford Arena crowd.]
Steve Pringle:
“What a dominant performance from the champion! Angelo Anderson proves once again why he’s at the top of the mountain here in DW!”
Eddie Bates:
“But you have to give credit to Geoffrey Hobbs—he fought with everything he had! Still, the champion is sending a clear message ahead of Collision Course next week.”
[Anderson climbs the turnbuckle, raising the DW Heavyweight Championship high, shouting down at the fans as they jeer him. He turns to the hard camera, tapping the title and yelling, “This is mine, and no one’s taking it!”]
[Suddenly, the lights go out, plunging the arena into darkness. A moment of stunned silence follows as the crowd erupts into cheers.]
Steve Pringle:
“Wait a second—what’s going on?!”
Eddie Bates:
“Steve… I think we know exactly what’s coming!”
[The haunting, gothic tones of The Black Raven’s theme music begin to play, sending chills through the arena. A single spotlight appears on the rafters, revealing Cedric Thornfield, clad in his signature black trench coat and raven mask, rappelling down to the ring.]
Steve Pringle:
“It’s Cedric Thornfield! The Black Raven is here!”
Eddie Bates:
“And he’s not waiting until Collision Course—he wants Anderson now!“
[Anderson’s cocky grin vanishes, replaced by a look of furious disbelief. As Thornfield lands gracefully in the ring, he removes his mask and coat, locking eyes with the champion. The two stare each other down, the tension palpable as the crowd roars.]
Steve Pringle:
“The intensity between these two is off the charts! Next week, it’s all coming to a head!”
[Anderson charges Thornfield, swinging the championship belt at him, but Thornfield ducks under and lands a stiff right hand. The two begin trading punches, each strike more thunderous than the last as the fans cheer louder with every blow.]
Eddie Bates:
“They’re tearing into each other! This isn’t just about the title anymore—this is personal!”
[Anderson momentarily gains the upper hand, shoving Thornfield into the ropes, but Thornfield rebounds with a massive flying forearm, sending Anderson stumbling backward. Thornfield stands tall as Anderson rolls to the outside, clutching his belt and glaring back at the challenger with pure venom.]
Steve Pringle:
“Thornfield has sent a message tonight—he’s not afraid of Anderson, and he’s coming for the DW Heavyweight Championship!”
Eddie Bates:
“Next week at Collision Course, these two forces collide for the biggest prize in DW! Who will walk out as champion?”
[The camera focuses on Thornfield in the ring, his piercing gaze locked on Anderson, who retreats up the ramp, shouting threats and clutching the championship close. The crowd’s chants of “Thornfield! Thornfield!” echo through the arena as the screen fades to black.]
[DW Clash goes off the air, hyping the epic Collision Course showdown between Angelo Anderson and Cedric Thornfield.]
