sVo Showdown 202
Live on the HOTv Network
Goodfellas Casino Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada
3rd November 2024
The lights in the Goodfellas Casino Arena in Las Vegas dim, and the crowd roars as sVo Showdown 202 kicks off, just one week after the unforgettable events of the Ultimate Victory PPV! The cameras pan across the excited crowd, holding signs and chanting for their favorites, as the theme music pulses through the arena.
The camera then cuts to the commentary desk, where Jeremiah Sloan and Julian Fiasco are ready to break down all the action for tonight.
Jeremiah Sloan:
“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to sVo Showdown 202! We’re coming to you live from the Goodfellas Casino Arena here in Las Vegas, and after the monumental Ultimate Victory PPV last week, we’re set for another incredible night of action!”
Julian Fiasco:
“That’s right, Jeremiah! Last week was one for the history books! Johnny All Star put it all on the line to defeat Curtis Knight and keep Horizon in the sVo, but it wasn’t over when the bell rang! Blood Money made their shocking return, laying waste to both All Star and Knight to close out the night!”
Jeremiah Sloan:
“And we crowned a new Victory Cup champion, as Carlos Vasquez went through both Victor Holland and the legendary Night to claim the trophy. Vasquez now has a future shot at the sVo Championship, and after last week’s performance, he’s looking stronger than ever!”
Julian Fiasco:
“Don’t forget the brutal showdown between Night and his brother, Nightmare! Nightmare may have lost in the semi-finals, but that didn’t stop him from taking one last shot at his brother, attacking Night before he went into the final. That family rivalry is far from over, and something tells me Nightmare isn’t done yet!”
Jeremiah Sloan:
“We’ll see if Night and Nightmare cross paths again, but tonight, the action continues with championship matches and high-stakes battles! We have Johnny Dorn defending his Las Vegas Championship against the flashy ‘Hollywood Obsession’ Alex Sterling!”
Julian Fiasco:
“Plus, ‘The Bully’ Danny Domino will be defending his Roulette Championship against the young up-and-comer Ali Young. And don’t forget the main event, folks – Victory Cup winner Carlos Vasquez takes on Kenneth D Williams in what’s sure to be a hard-hitting encounter!”
Jeremiah Sloan:
“It’s an explosive card tonight with plenty of fallout from Ultimate Victory. Buckle up, because Showdown 202 starts now!”
The camera cuts to the ring, where the action is set to begin, and the energy in the arena is palpable as the first match introductions begin.

All About Timing
Backstage, the camera opens on Katie Smith standing by with a microphone in hand, looking composed but wary as she’s about to interview the brash, unapologetically cocky Victory Cup winner, Carlos Vasquez. Dressed in a sharp white suit with a gold chain and his signature smirk, “The Miami Maverick” oozes confidence as he steps into the frame.
Katie Smith:
“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with the winner of the 2024 Victory Cup, Carlos Vasquez! Carlos, first of all, congratulations on winning the Victory Cup last week at Ultimate Victory. That was no easy feat, especially after facing legends like Victor Holland and Night. How does it feel to be holding that trophy?”
Carlos Vasquez:
He chuckles, adjusting his collar.
“Look at that, Katie, you’re asking the right questions tonight. Feels like I’ve just claimed what was always mine, baby. Victor Holland? He was just in the way. And as for Night, the so-called legend? He might’ve been tough, but I showed him and everyone else that nobody – nobody – outshines the Miami Maverick.”
Katie Smith:
Smiling but staying professional.
“You now have a guaranteed shot at the sVo Championship. I think the question on everyone’s mind is: when will you cash it in and face Johnny All Star?”
Carlos Vasquez:
He laughs, leaning back as if savoring the thought.
“Ay, Johnny All Star’s got what I want, but see, Katie, I’m not some desperate chump, yeah? I don’t need to run out there the first chance I get. Timing, sweetheart. It’s all about timing. When Johnny’s least expecting it, when he’s vulnerable, that’s when the Miami Maverick will make his move. For now? Let him sweat. Let him wonder when I’m coming.”
Katie Smith:
Pressing on, but cautiously.
“Well, Carlos, tonight you have a match against Kenneth D Williams from Generation Joint. He’s known for his resilience and his ability to take his opponents to the limit. What are your thoughts heading into that main event tonight?”
Carlos Vasquez:
Carlos scoffs, rolling his eyes as if the match is barely worth his attention.
“Kenneth D Williams? Please. This guy’s out here with his little friends, acting like they’re a big deal. Let me tell you something, Katie – Generation Joint? They’re nothing but a stepping stone for me. Tonight, I’ll show Kenneth and everyone else why I’m the man who won the Victory Cup, and soon enough, I’ll be the man with the sVo Championship. El campeón, baby.”
Katie Smith:
She nods, maintaining a polite smile.
“Well, thank you for your time, Carlos, and good luck tonight.”
Carlos Vasquez:
Flashing his gold tooth in a final grin.
“Luck, Katie? Please. The Miami Maverick doesn’t need luck. I’m making my own destiny, and there’s no one in sVo who can stop me.”
With a confident wave, Vasquez strides off camera, leaving Katie watching as he heads toward the main event with his characteristic swagger.
sVo Las Vegas Championship Match
Johnny Dorn (c) vs. Alex Sterling
Ringside
ANDNEW
The bell rings, and Alex Sterling stands tall in the center of the ring, his hand raised in victory, holding the sVo Las Vegas Championship high above his head. The crowd erupts in a chorus of boos, clearly dismayed that fan favorite Johnny Dorn has lost his title. Sterling, however, basks in the negativity, grinning smugly as he drapes the championship over his shoulder.
Julian Fiasco:
“Unbelievable! Alex Sterling has just dethroned Johnny Dorn! Love him or hate him, he’s our new Las Vegas Champion!”
Jeremiah Sloan:
“Love him? The fans hate him, Julian! Dorn gave it everything he had, but Sterling… he stole this one.”
Sterling takes a microphone from the ring announcer, taking a moment to look out over the crowd with disdain.
Alex Sterling:
“Look at all of you! Booing the new Las Vegas Champion! This is the thanks I get? The greatest wrestler in sVo, finally taking his rightful place as your champion, and you people… all you do is whine and complain!”
The boos intensify, but Sterling only laughs, clearly unfazed.
Alex Sterling:
“You know, for too long, this title has been held by men who don’t deserve it. Men who play to you fans, who care about what you think! But I’m not here for your approval. I’m here to make history, to make myself the biggest star in this company, and this title… my title… proves that.”
The camera catches Johnny Dorn, who is slowly pulling himself up by the ropes, clearly still feeling the effects of the hard-fought match. Sterling notices and turns to him, an arrogant smirk on his face.
Alex Sterling:
“Oh, look who’s still here. Johnny Dorn, the former Las Vegas Champion. Let me spell it out for you, Dorn – this title? It’s never coming back to you. You’re looking at the future of sVo, and there’s nothing you or anyone else can do about it!”
With a mocking wave, Sterling holds the title high once more, reveling in his victory as the crowd boos louder. He takes a final, self-satisfied glance at Dorn, who looks on with a mix of disappointment and determination, before Sterling exits the ring, basking in his new championship glory as he heads up the ramp, his arrogance on full display.
Jeremiah Sloan:
“What a despicable display! Sterling might have the gold, but he’s got no class, Julian.”
Julian Fiasco:
“Class? Sloan, the only thing that matters here is that Alex Sterling is walking out as the Las Vegas Champion. Like it or not, this era of Sterling has begun!”
The camera cuts to Johnny Dorn still in the ring, watching Sterling’s retreat with a look of fierce resolve, as if silently vowing that this fight is far from over.

Don’t Forget the Name
Backstage in the dimly lit, smoky atmosphere of the Blood Money locker room, Anthony Moretti stands at the center of the room, his expression cold and calculating. Surrounding him are Joe Barone, Junior Gambino, and Nicky Columbo, each of them looking focused and ready for what lies ahead. Moretti folds his arms, his eyes darting between his associates as he begins to speak.
Anthony Moretti:
“Alright, listen up. Tonight, we’ve got ourselves a little… business to settle with the Legends Club. Athena, Marshall, Hendrix—they think they run this place just because they’ve got some gold around their waists. Well, tonight, we show ‘em what happens when they step on our turf.”
Moretti’s eyes narrow as he shifts his gaze to Joe Barone, the powerhouse of the group, also known as “The Problem Solver.”
Anthony Moretti:
“Joe, you’re my guy when things need… fixing. Tonight, I want you to send a message. I want every single one of those Legends Club punks to remember what it feels like when they cross paths with Blood Money.”
Joe Barone:
With a nod and a grin, cracking his knuckles.
“Don’t worry, boss. I’ll make sure they’re limping outta here.”
Moretti gives a faint smile, then turns to Junior Gambino and Nicky Columbo, his loyal enforcers.
Anthony Moretti:
“And you two—Athena thinks she’s tough just because she can hang with the boys. I want you to show her that she’s out of her league tonight. I don’t care if she’s got backup or if she’s got the whole Legends Club watching her back. Blood Money is about family, about loyalty, and about power. And tonight, we’re showing everyone in that arena exactly what kind of power we bring to the table.”
Junior Gambino smirks, adjusting his gold chains, while Nicky Columbo nods with a look of steely determination.
Junior Gambino:
“Legends Club? Please. They’re about to find out they don’t belong in our territory.”
Nicky Columbo:
“Yeah, we’re the real deal around here. Those champs are just playing dress-up.”
Moretti places a hand on each of their shoulders, his voice low and menacing.
Anthony Moretti:
“Good. That’s what I like to hear. Tonight, we don’t just beat the Legends Club—we embarrass ‘em, we hurt ‘em, and we make sure they never forget the name… Blood Money.”
The room falls silent as Moretti steps back, crossing his arms with a satisfied look.
Anthony Moretti:
“Let’s get to work, boys.”
With a unified nod, Barone, Gambino, and Columbo exit the locker room, ready to bring the fight to the Legends Club. The camera lingers on Moretti, who smirks darkly, knowing that his crew is about to send a powerful message tonight.
Six Man Tag Team Match
Blood Money vs. The Legends Club
Ringside
The New War
The crowd erupts into boos as Blood Money—Joe Barone, Junior Gambino, and Nicky Columbo—stand tall in the ring, victorious after their brutal six-man tag match against the Legends Club. The battered forms of Athena, Buzz Marshall, and Drew Hendrix are sprawled across the mat, trying to recover from the onslaught. Anthony Moretti, the boss of Blood Money, strides down the ramp with a smug grin, stepping into the ring to join his triumphant crew.
Moretti raises Barone’s hand in victory, taunting the crowd as they rain down jeers. But before the celebration can fully take hold, Curtis Knight‘s music blares over the sound system, and the arena erupts with a mix of cheers and boos. Knight storms down the ramp, his expression fierce. He slides into the ring, and the moment his boots hit the mat, chaos erupts.
Knight immediately goes after Moretti, and the two leaders trade heavy blows, each looking to assert their dominance. Blood Money and the Legends Club tear into each other again, with Joe Barone hammering away at Buzz Marshall, Nicky Columbo taking on Drew Hendrix, and Junior Gambino tangling with Athena. The intensity is palpable, and fists fly as each side refuses to back down.
Suddenly, security rushes down the ramp, flooding the ring to try and separate the brawling factions. But both teams are too far gone to listen, shoving the guards aside and continuing their battle. The crowd is on their feet, roaring as the melee grows more out of control. Knight and Moretti’s clash takes center stage, each trying to gain the upper hand as they stagger across the ring, locked in a vicious struggle.
Julian Fiasco:
“Jeremiah, this is bedlam! Blood Money and the Legends Club tearing each other apart—this is way beyond a rivalry!”
Jeremiah Sloan:
“This isn’t just about pride or titles—this is war, Julian! Security can’t contain this madness!”
Despite security’s best efforts, they are repeatedly shoved aside or thrown out of the ring as the brawl continues. Finally, even more guards and officials swarm in, managing to pull apart a few of the combatants. Knight is dragged back, still lunging toward Moretti, who is held back by multiple guards, both men shouting insults and threats at each other as the crowd’s cheers and boos rumble through the arena.
With both sides barely restrained, Curtis Knight raises a defiant fist, glaring at Moretti with fury.
Curtis Knight:
“You want a war, Moretti? You got one!”
Moretti sneers, brushing off the guards’ hands as he points back at Knight.
Anthony Moretti:
“Oh, believe me, Knight—I wouldn’t have it any other way!”
The crowd buzzes with anticipation as security finally manages to force both factions out of the ring, separating Blood Money and the Legends Club for the time being. The tension is palpable as the camera fades, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the next chapter in this explosive rivalry.

Number 10
Backstage, Katie Smith stands in the interview area, microphone in hand. Beside her is the sVo Roulette Champion, Danny “the Bully” Domino, his signature scowl firmly in place as he crosses his arms over his chest, the Roulette Championship resting proudly on his shoulder. Katie smiles, trying to keep her composure in the presence of one of the most intimidating men on the roster.
Katie Smith:
“Danny, you’re just moments away from defending your Roulette Championship against Ali Young of the Canadian Connection. But as we know, this match has some high stakes attached to it—if you retain tonight, you’ll secure the right to challenge for the sVo Championship. How are you feeling heading into such a pivotal match?”
Domino sneers, leaning into the microphone.
Danny Domino:
“How am I feeling, Katie? I’m feeling like I’m about to show everyone why they call me ‘the Bully’ in this company. Ali Young? He’s nothing but a roadblock on my path to the top. He may be the pride of the Canadian Connection, but tonight he’s just another victim.”
He adjusts the Roulette Championship on his shoulder, smirking confidently.
Danny Domino:
“You see, I don’t just want to win tonight. I want to make a statement. Ali Young thinks he’s got a shot at taking this title from me? He’s dreaming. And as for Carlos Vasquez, the so-called ‘Victory Cup Winner’… he thinks that trophy makes him special? News flash, Vasquez—it doesn’t mean a damn thing once you’re standing across the ring from a real champion. You think you’re the next big thing? Try surviving in my world first.”
Katie tries to ask another question, but Domino doesn’t let her get a word in.
Danny Domino:
“And then there’s Johnny All Star, the man holding the sVo Championship. Johnny, I hope you’re paying close attention to what happens tonight. Because once I’ve flattened Ali Young, I’m coming for you, and I’m bringing that sVo Championship back to someone who actually deserves it. Your days at the top are numbered, and soon enough, everyone’s going to know that I’m the one who runs this place.”
Domino’s eyes flash with a dangerous determination as he leans even closer to the camera, delivering his final words with a menacing smirk.
Danny Domino:
“Ali, Vasquez, Johnny… I hope you’re all watching closely, because when I’m done, there won’t be any doubt who’s the true future of this company. You’re all in my way… and I don’t leave obstacles standing.”
With that, Domino gives Katie a final, intimidating glare before turning and marching off, leaving her visibly shaken as she sends it back to ringside.

Time to Change the Game
Backstage in the Southern Boys’ locker room, the atmosphere is tense. ‘Dastardly’ Dave Miller and ‘Dangerous’ Dan Williams sit on a bench, both looking frustrated and lost in thought. Their manager, ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas, paces in front of them, her expression stern. The former 3-time MVW Tag Team Champions are feeling the weight of their recent loss to Amy Page’s enforcers at the PPV.
Haley Dallas:
“Alright, boys, that didn’t go the way we planned. Y’all got played by Page’s goons last week. Now we’re lookin’ at a different beast here in the sVo—this ain’t MVW. What got us to the dance isn’t cuttin’ it no more.”
Miller leans back, letting out a frustrated sigh.
Dave Miller:
“Yeah, you’re right, Haley. Ain’t no excuses. We’ve been lettin’ ourselves get pushed around, and that’s gotta stop. This is a whole new level, and we’re playin’ catch-up.”
Williams nods, his jaw clenched in determination.
Dan Williams:
“We got the skills, we got the fight—ain’t no one doubtin’ that. But we gotta change it up. Gotta get back to that mean streak that made us unstoppable in MVW. These sVo boys don’t respect us yet… well, that’s about to change.”
Haley Dallas:
“Damn right, it is! We didn’t come here to be second best. We came here to dominate like we did back home. So if we gotta take things up a notch, maybe take a few risks we wouldn’t normally take, then so be it. No more playin’ nice!”
Miller slams his fist into his hand, nodding in agreement.
Dave Miller:
“We gotta remind everyone who the hell we are. No more sittin’ back. From now on, we go out there lookin’ to hurt people. We make ‘em remember why the Southern Boys held gold three times over in MVW.”
Williams stands, clapping Miller on the back.
Dan Williams:
“Hell yeah. We get meaner, nastier. Starting next week, the Southern Boys are back on the hunt—and anyone in our way better be ready for a fight.”
Haley Dallas smiles approvingly, her Texas grit shining through.
Haley Dallas:
“Now that’s the fire I wanna see. We’re done lickin’ our wounds. Next time we step out there, we’re makin’ a statement. Page’s enforcers… the Legends Club… Blood Money… doesn’t matter who. The Southern Boys are takin’ this company by storm.”
The three share a determined look, refocused and ready to take their place in the sVo. With renewed resolve, the Southern Boys prepare to shake things up and carve their path to the top.

The Road Ahead
As the final bell rings, Carlos Vasquez stands tall in the center of the ring, reveling in his hard-fought victory over Kenneth D Williams. The Las Vegas crowd erupts into boos, but Vasquez only grins wider, lifting his arms in celebration and mouthing off to the fans. He points to the Victory Cup trophy at ringside, signaling his path to the sVo Championship, but suddenly, the atmosphere changes.
From the top of the entrance ramp, Horizon appears: Johnny All Star, Gunner Lang, Darwin Jones, and Hugo Ryzing. All four men stand united, their expressions fierce as they begin their slow, calculated walk toward the ring. The crowd buzzes with anticipation, sensing the tension as Vasquez’s smug smile begins to fade.
Vasquez squares his shoulders, watching Horizon approach with a defiant glare. He holds up his arms, gesturing as if to say, “Come on!” The crowd watches in awe as Horizon reaches the bottom of the ramp, encircling the ring like a pack of wolves, sending a clear message to the Victory Cup winner. Vasquez looks around, prepared for a fight, but there’s a hint of uncertainty in his eyes.
Just as the crowd reaches a fever pitch, the camera shifts to the upper levels of the arena, where Danny Domino—the Roulette Champion and a man with his own ambitions for the sVo Championship—watches from a skybox. Domino smirks, his arms crossed as he observes the scene below, calculating his next move with sharp eyes.
The show closes with a powerful visual: Carlos Vasquez in the ring, standing off against Horizon on all sides, while Danny Domino watches from above, poised to strike when the time is right. The message is clear—everyone has their sights set on the sVo Championship, and the road ahead for Johnny All Star is about to get far more dangerous.
With the tension high and the future uncertain, the screen fades to black, leaving the fans eager to see what unfolds next.
