Capital One Arena, Washington, D.C.
17th August 2024
The camera pans over the packed Capital One Arena in Washington, DC, as thousands of fans buzz with excitement, their energy electrifying the air. The lights flash in sync with the pulsating entrance music, and the pyrotechnics explode on the stage, signaling the start of another intense night of Project: Violence action!
Zac Brindle: “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to P:V Uprising 88! We are live from the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC, and what a night we have in store for you!”
Johnny Kaos: “You said it, Zac! We’ve got a massive triple threat main event tonight for the TV Championship, with Dash Diaz defending against James Mendoza and Maverick Matthews! But that’s not all, we’ve got the debut of the exciting Bernard Wolfe, and who knows what might go down after last week’s chaos!”
The camera cuts to the entrance ramp as the crowd continues to roar in anticipation. Signs flash throughout the crowd, with fans cheering for their favorite stars and booing their most hated rivals.
Zac Brindle: “And let’s not forget, Darrell Robles made quite the impact last week with that shocking attack on the International Heavyweight Champion Masafumi Satake! Robles is looking to ride that momentum tonight, but the big question is, will Satake be here after defending his title last night in rival territory, Apocalypse Pro?”
Johnny Kaos: “Satake has been on a roll, defending the SVN International Heavyweight Championship all over the world, but Robles might have just put himself in the crosshairs of a very dangerous champion. If Satake shows up tonight, it could spell trouble for ‘The Dark Horse’!”
The camera cuts to highlights of Adam Garcia and Teddy Rush battling the Starr Brothers last week, with the brutal aftermath of Rush’s parking lot attack replaying on the screen.
Zac Brindle: “Adam Garcia has vowed to get revenge for Teddy Rush after last week’s cowardly attack by Darwin Jones and the Starr Brothers. You can bet ‘The Mad Bull’ will be looking to send a message tonight!”
Johnny Kaos: “And with the Gutter Gods representing Hate Eternal overseas at Tokyo Turmoil tomorrow, their stablemate Anderson Alverez will be holding down the fort here tonight. We’ll see if he can keep the momentum going for Hate Eternal!”
The camera cuts back to the ring, where the stage is set for the first match of the night. The crowd is on their feet, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the debuting Bernard Wolfe.
Zac Brindle: “All that and so much more as we kick off P:V Uprising 88! Buckle up, folks—this is going to be one wild ride!”
The show fades into the opening match, the anticipation in the arena reaching a fever pitch as Bernard Wolfe prepares to make his debut.

Had it Coming
The scene opens backstage at the Capital One Arena, where Elena Cruz stands poised with a microphone in hand, the camera focused on her bright smile as the P:V logo glows behind her. Standing next to her is the imposing figure of Darrell Robles, his cold, calculating eyes staring into the lens, with his manager, the cunning Hellbender, standing just behind him. Robles, a hulking brute of a man, looks every bit as dangerous as his reputation suggests.
Elena Cruz: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, ‘The Dark Horse’ Darrell Robles. Darrell, last week you shocked everyone by attacking the International Heavyweight Champion, Masafumi Satake, after your match. Can you tell us why you chose to attack Satake from behind?”
Robles lets out a low, menacing chuckle before bringing the microphone closer to his mouth, his expression showing no remorse.
Darrell Robles: “Why? Because Masafumi Satake has been handed everything on a silver platter since the moment he stepped foot in P:V. The guy waltzes in here after losing to Hate Watson, gets an International Heavyweight Championship match, and everyone wants to sing his praises. Meanwhile, I’ve been busting my ass, living on scraps, waiting for someone to notice the real threat standing in this locker room. Satake had it coming.”
Hellbender smirks beside Robles, nodding in agreement as she folds her arms, her eyes narrowing as she looks at Elena.
Elena Cruz: “Satake defended his title last night at Apocalypse Pro against all odds. What do you think of his performance, and do you regret your actions?”
Robles glares at Elena, clearly irritated by the question.
Darrell Robles: “Regret? Are you kidding me? Satake can defend that title anywhere he wants, and it doesn’t change a damn thing. It just proves what I’ve been saying all along—he’s more focused on playing the hero in other companies than dealing with the real threat right here in P:V. As far as his performance goes, he’s been lucky. But luck runs out, Elena, and when it does, I’ll be there to make sure he falls harder than he ever has before.”
Hellbender steps forward, her voice dripping with venom as she adds to Robles’ statement.
Hellbender: “Satake might be riding high now, but all those title defenses are going to catch up to him. Darrell is the true force in P:V, and it’s only a matter of time before he tears through anyone in his path. Steven Love? He’s just the next name on the list.”
Robles cracks his knuckles, a sadistic grin spreading across his face as he looks down at Elena.
Darrell Robles: “Satake got a taste of what I’m capable of last week. Steven Love? He’ll get the full experience tonight.”
With that, Robles and Hellbender turn and walk off, leaving Elena Cruz looking unsettled as the camera fades out, the ominous atmosphere lingering in the air.

Man on a Mission
The arena is filled with loud boos as Darrell Robles stands tall over a fallen Steven Love, who lies motionless in the ring. The referee tries to step in, but Robles shoves him aside, clearly not done with his brutal assault. Hellbender, his manager, stands outside the ring, clapping her hands and encouraging Robles to continue his savage attack. The crowd’s disapproval grows as Robles drags Love to his feet, delivering a vicious clothesline that sends him crashing back down.
Robles picks up Love again, signaling for another devastating move, when suddenly, the sound system explodes with the unmistakable music of Masafumi Satake, the International Heavyweight Champion. The crowd erupts into cheers as Satake’s entrance theme blares through the arena, and the camera quickly pans to the entrance ramp.
Satake appears, sprinting down the ramp with the International Heavyweight Championship slung over his shoulder. The champion, having made the journey from New Jersey overnight just to confront Robles, is a man on a mission. He slides into the ring, and Robles quickly drops Love, backing up as Satake charges in, ready for a fight.
Robles looks caught off guard but maintains a smirk as he watches Satake, who stands tall in the center of the ring, daring him to come closer. The fans are on their feet, urging Satake to take Robles down, but Robles, despite his earlier bravado, decides he wants no part of the fired-up champion tonight. With a mocking grin, Robles rolls out of the ring, joining Hellbender on the outside. Satake paces inside the ring, his eyes locked on Robles, who casually walks backward up the ramp, clearly enjoying the fact that he has riled up the champion.
The boos from the crowd intensify as Robles raises his hands, taunting the fans and Satake with a knowing smirk, signaling that this is far from over. Satake glares at Robles, holding up his championship belt as if to remind him what’s at stake. Hellbender pats Robles on the back, whispering something into his ear, which makes his grin widen even further.
The segment ends with Satake standing tall in the ring, his championship belt raised high, while Robles and Hellbender disappear backstage, leaving a trail of tension in their wake. The crowd continues to cheer for Satake, knowing that a showdown between these two is inevitable.

Crash Course
Backstage, the camera cuts to Elena Cruz, who stands ready with a microphone in hand. Beside her is Brandon Snyder, the arrogant heel who oozes confidence as he adjusts his wrist tape, a smirk playing on his lips.
Elena Cruz: “Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with Brandon Snyder, who tonight faces the debuting Bernard Wolfe, also known as ‘The Wayward Traveler.’ Brandon, what are your thoughts heading into this match against a newcomer who many are calling an exciting addition to P:V?”
Snyder scoffs, rolling his eyes before taking the microphone from Elena’s hand.
Brandon Snyder: “Elena, let me stop you right there. Exciting? Addition? Please. I don’t even know who this guy is. ‘The Wayward Traveler’? Sounds like some ridiculous fairy tale character. I’ve been in this business long enough to know that just because someone comes in with a flashy nickname doesn’t mean they can hang in the ring with a real talent. Bernard Wolfe is just another flavor of the month, and believe me, his flavor is gonna taste bitter when I’m done with him.”
He sneers, clearly unimpressed with the hype surrounding Wolfe.
Brandon Snyder: “These people keep talking about him like he’s some big deal. But let me make one thing clear: this is my ring. P:V is my territory. Bernard Wolfe might have wandered in from wherever the hell he came from, but tonight, he’s gonna learn the hard way that this isn’t some pit stop on his little journey. This is where the road ends. I’m gonna kick his ass so hard, he won’t know which direction to crawl back to. He’ll wish he never set foot in my world.”
Snyder steps closer to the camera, his expression darkening as he leans in.
Brandon Snyder: “Wolfe, you might be new around here, but tonight, you’re gonna get a crash course in what it means to step into the ring with Brandon Snyder. I’m not here to welcome you—I’m here to end you. So pack your bags, ‘Traveler,’ because your journey is about to come to a screeching halt.”
Snyder tosses the microphone back to Elena with a smirk, his confidence unwavering as he storms off, ready to back up his words in the ring.

Last Ticket To Tokyo?
Backstage, the camera follows the Masters of the Mat, Mike Donovan and George Lancaster, as they march down the hallway with purpose. The duo, dressed in their signature wrestling gear and looking visibly agitated, push open the door to General Manager James Von Drake’s office without knocking. Inside, Von Drake is seated at his desk, reviewing some papers. He looks up, slightly annoyed at the abrupt intrusion.
George Lancaster: “Von Drake, we need to talk. Right now.”
Von Drake raises an eyebrow, leaning back in his chair as he gives them his full attention.
James Von Drake: “What can I do for you gentlemen?”
Mike Donovan steps forward, his voice dripping with frustration.
Mike Donovan: “We want to know if we’ve been added to the Tokyo Turmoil tournament tomorrow. We’ve been putting in the work, week after week, and we deserve to be in that tournament. We’re the Masters of the Mat, damn it, not some bottom-tier team.”
Von Drake sighs, leaning forward with a calm but firm demeanor.
James Von Drake: “I appreciate your passion, I really do. But as it stands, you didn’t make the cut for the Tokyo Turmoil tournament.”
The faces of Donovan and Lancaster twist with disbelief and anger. George Lancaster shakes his head, unable to believe what he’s hearing.
George Lancaster: “You’ve got to be kidding me. We’re not in the tournament? But instead, you’re throwing us into a match tonight against… who? The Ordinary Gentlemen? Again?”
Lancaster’s tone is filled with disdain, as if the idea of facing The Ordinary Gentlemen is beneath them.
James Von Drake: “That’s right. You’ve got The Ordinary Gentlemen tonight. Look, I understand you think you should be fighting for titles, but every team has to prove themselves. If you want to be taken seriously as title contenders, you need to handle your business in that ring, no matter who your opponents are.”
Mike Donovan slams his fist on the desk, clearly infuriated.
Mike Donovan: “We’ve already handled our business! We’re sick of being overlooked and disrespected. Facing The Ordinary Gentlemen again? They’re not even in our league. This is an insult!”
Von Drake remains composed, his gaze steady as he responds.
James Von Drake: “You might feel that way, but this is how it’s going to be. You want to prove you deserve more? Go out there and dominate. Show me and everyone else that you’re as good as you say you are. Then, maybe, we can talk about title opportunities.”
The Masters of the Mat exchange a look, seething with anger but realizing they won’t get anywhere arguing further. They turn to leave, but George Lancaster pauses at the door, turning back to Von Drake.
George Lancaster: “You better believe we’re going to make a statement tonight. And when we do, you’ll have no choice but to give us what we deserve.”
With that, the Masters of the Mat storm out of the office, the door slamming behind them as Von Drake watches them leave, unfazed by their threats.

Ready to Ride Again
Backstage, Elena Cruz stands with a microphone in hand, ready to conduct another interview. The camera zooms out to reveal Dutch Ramirez standing beside her, a serious expression on his face. The biker, clad in his leather vest and bandana, looks determined as he glances at Elena, signaling he’s ready to speak.
Elena Cruz: “Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with Dutch Ramirez. Dutch, you’ve had a string of tough losses recently after your hard-fought victory over Puck. How are you feeling, and what’s next for you in P:V?”
Ramirez takes a deep breath, his eyes focused as he begins to speak.
Dutch Ramirez: “Yeah, Elena, I’m not gonna lie—these past few weeks haven’t gone the way I wanted. After that war with Puck, I thought I’d ride that momentum straight to the top. But reality has a funny way of humbling you real quick.”
He pauses, clearly reflecting on his recent struggles in the ring.
Dutch Ramirez: “Those losses… they’ve been a good reality check. They made me realize that beating one guy, no matter how tough, isn’t enough in this business. You can’t just rely on one victory to carry you through. You’ve got to keep grinding, keep fighting, and never let up.”
Ramirez’s tone shifts, growing more intense as he speaks with renewed determination.
Dutch Ramirez: “I’ve learned a lot from those losses, Elena. Now I know what it takes to get to the top of P:V, and I’m ready to do whatever it takes to get back on track. Starting next week, I’m coming back stronger, more focused, and more determined than ever.”
He turns his gaze directly to the camera, his eyes full of resolve.
Dutch Ramirez: “So, James Von Drake, whoever you’ve got lined up for me next week, just know that I’m ready. It doesn’t matter who you throw my way—I’m going to get back to winning, and I’m going to prove that Dutch Ramirez is a force to be reckoned with in P:V.”
Elena Cruz nods, impressed by the conviction in Ramirez’s voice.
Elena Cruz: “There you have it, folks. Dutch Ramirez is determined to turn things around and climb his way to the top once again. We’ll see what happens next week. Thank you, Dutch.”
Ramirez gives a firm nod before walking off, his mind clearly set on the challenges ahead. The camera lingers on Elena Cruz as she wraps up the segment.
Elena Cruz: “It looks like Dutch Ramirez is ready for redemption. We’ll see if he can make good on his word next week. Stay tuned.”

Rookie Welcome
Backstage at the Capital One Arena, the camera follows Canadian rookie Rex Stone as he makes his way toward the exit. His shoulders are slumped, and his expression is one of frustration after his hard-fought loss to Anderson Alverez earlier in the night. As he turns a corner, Rex is suddenly confronted by the towering figure of Boyd Jackson, a scowl etched across the veteran’s face.
Boyd Jackson: “Well, well, look who it is. The Canadian rookie who thinks he belongs here.”
Rex Stone, taken by surprise, straightens up and looks Jackson in the eye, trying to muster some confidence despite the intimidating presence in front of him.
Rex Stone: “I’m just trying to make a name for myself, man. Everyone’s got to start somewhere.”
Boyd Jackson sneers, clearly unimpressed with Rex’s response.
Boyd Jackson: “A name for yourself? You think you deserve a spot on this roster? Tonight, you took a place on the card that should’ve been mine. An unsigned rookie like you? You don’t belong here, kid.”
Without warning, Jackson shoves Rex hard against the wall. The impact reverberates through the corridor, and Rex winces in pain. Boyd Jackson steps closer, his face twisted with disdain.
Boyd Jackson: “You’re in over your head. This is a place for real competitors, not some rookie from Canada who thinks he’s gonna make it big.”
Before Rex can respond, Jackson drives a knee into his gut, causing Rex to double over in pain. The assault continues as Boyd Jackson grabs Rex by the back of his head and slams him into the nearby equipment crates, sending him crashing to the floor. Rex tries to crawl away, but Jackson is relentless, kicking him in the ribs with brutal force.
The backstage staff looks on in shock, but they’re too afraid to intervene as Jackson stands over the battered Rex Stone, his voice dripping with contempt.
Boyd Jackson: “You don’t belong here, and you never will. Go back to Canada, rookie. Before you get hurt worse than this.”
Jackson delivers one final, vicious stomp to Rex Stone’s back, leaving the rookie writhing in pain on the cold, hard floor. Satisfied with his handiwork, Boyd Jackson straightens his jacket, adjusts his collar, and casually walks away, leaving Rex Stone gasping for breath and barely conscious.
The camera lingers on the fallen rookie, capturing the severity of the beatdown and the harsh reality of the P:V locker room. The segment ends with a somber shot of Rex Stone, a young man who came to make a name for himself but now lies broken, a victim of the ruthless world of professional wrestling.

Numbers Game
The scene unfolds in the heart of the Capital One Arena, where the crowd is still buzzing from the thrilling match they just witnessed. Adam Garcia, the reigning P:V Heavyweight Champion, has just secured another victory, this time over Darren Starr. The fans cheer loudly as Garcia raises his arm in triumph, his winning streak intact. The “Mad Bull” looks unstoppable as he takes in the adulation of the crowd, a satisfied smile on his face.
But the celebration is cut short as the arena lights flicker ominously, and a murmur of concern ripples through the crowd. Suddenly, from behind, Darwin Jones and Simon Starr slide into the ring, moving like predators stalking their prey. Darren Starr, who had been lying on the mat moments ago, quickly recovers, revealing that this was a set-up all along.
Before Garcia can react, the trio launches a vicious assault. Darren Starr drives his knee into Garcia’s back, sending the champion crashing to the canvas. The crowd erupts in boos, their cheers turning into shouts of anger and disapproval. Garcia, caught off guard and outnumbered, tries to fight back, but the numbers game quickly overwhelms him.
Simon Starr delivers a series of brutal stomps to Garcia’s midsection, while Darwin Jones, the mastermind behind the ambush, directs traffic with a twisted grin on his face. The three-on-one beatdown intensifies as they take turns punishing the champion, who is now defenseless against the onslaught.
The fans chant Garcia’s name, hoping to rally him, but the relentless assault from the Starr Brothers and Darwin Jones leaves little hope for a comeback. Darren Starr locks Garcia in a tight chokehold, holding him in place as Simon and Darwin continue to land heavy blows. The P:V Heavyweight Champion is powerless, struggling to free himself, but the combined strength of his attackers keeps him grounded.
As the boos grow louder, Darwin Jones grabs a microphone from ringside and kneels beside the battered Garcia. He leans in close, his voice dripping with malice as he taunts the champion.
Darwin Jones: “You think you’re unstoppable, Garcia? You think this title makes you untouchable? Think again. This is just the beginning. You’re not a champion—you’re a target. And we’re not going to stop until that title is ours!”
Jones drops the microphone with a sinister chuckle, and the Starr Brothers haul Garcia to his feet, only to send him crashing back down with a devastating double-team maneuver. The crowd is in an uproar, booing the trio mercilessly, but their anger only seems to fuel the attackers further.
Security finally rushes down the ramp, flooding the ring to separate the attackers from the fallen champion. Darwin Jones, Darren Starr, and Simon Starr reluctantly back away, satisfied with the damage they’ve done. They exit the ring, smirking as they make their way up the ramp, ignoring the jeers and insults hurled at them by the furious audience.
In the ring, Adam Garcia struggles to pull himself up, leaning on the ropes for support. The P:V Heavyweight Champion may have survived the match, but the message from Darwin Jones and the Starr Brothers is clear: they’re coming for his title, and they won’t stop until they take him down.
The camera captures the defiant look in Garcia’s eyes as he stares up the ramp at his attackers, his hand clutching the championship belt that they so desperately covet. The segment ends with this tense standoff, leaving the fans eager to see what will happen next in the escalating war for the P:V Heavyweight Championship.

Fighting Champ
Backstage at the Capital One Arena, the atmosphere is electric as the show reaches its climax. Elena Cruz, microphone in hand, stands beside the reigning P:V TV Champion, Dash Diaz. The champion is dressed in his ring gear, his signature leather jacket draped over his shoulders, and the TV Championship belt gleaming around his waist. He has an air of confidence about him, but there’s also a palpable intensity in his eyes as he prepares for the upcoming triple threat match.
Elena Cruz: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, the P:V TV Champion, Dash Diaz. Dash, in just a few moments, you’ll be defending your title against not one, but two challengers—James Mendoza and Maverick Matthews. These are two men that you’ve beaten in recent weeks, but tonight, you’ll face them both at the same time. How are you feeling heading into this high-stakes match?”
Diaz takes a moment, his gaze fixed on the camera as he considers his response. He then turns to Elena with a smirk.
Dash Diaz: “Elena, I’ve been in this business long enough to know that nothing is ever easy. James Mendoza and Maverick Matthews… they’re both tough competitors, no doubt about it. But let’s get one thing straight—I didn’t become the TV Champion by luck. I became the champion because I’m the best in that ring, and I’ve proven it time and time again.”
Diaz adjusts the title on his shoulder, his confidence growing as he speaks.
Dash Diaz: “Mendoza and Matthews, they’ve been a thorn in my side for weeks now, sticking their noses in my business, trying to get in the way of my matches, my title defenses. But tonight? Tonight, it all ends. I’m not just going to beat them, Elena—I’m going to teach them a lesson. They’re going to learn what happens when you try to mess with Dash Diaz.”
Elena nods, sensing the intensity in Diaz’s words.
Elena Cruz: “You’ve already beaten both Mendoza and Matthews in singles competition, but tonight, with the title on the line, the stakes are higher than ever. Do you have any last words for your opponents before you step into the ring?”
Diaz turns directly to the camera, his expression serious.
Dash Diaz: “Mendoza, Matthews, I hope you’re listening. Tonight, I’m walking into that ring as the TV Champion, and I’m walking out the same way. You want this title? You’ll have to take it from me, but I promise you, that’s not going to happen. When the dust settles, when the smoke clears, the only thing you’ll be left with is the memory of the night you got schooled by the best in the business.”
He takes a step closer to the camera, his voice low and intense.
Dash Diaz: “Washington, get ready, because Dash Diaz is here to make a statement, and nobody—nobody—is taking this title from me.”
With that, Diaz adjusts his championship one last time, nods to Elena, and walks off, heading toward the ring. The camera lingers on Elena, who looks back at the camera with a knowing smile.
Elena Cruz: “There you have it, folks—Dash Diaz is confident, focused, and ready to defend his TV Championship. The triple threat match is next, and you won’t want to miss it!”
The scene fades as the anticipation for the upcoming match builds, the fans buzzing with excitement for what’s sure to be an explosive encounter.

The Controversy
The arena is a cacophony of noise as the chaotic conclusion of the triple threat main event for the P:V TV Championship unfolds. The referee has just called for the bell, and the stunned crowd watches as Maverick Matthews, clutching the TV Championship belt, stumbles to his feet. The fans are in shock, some cheering, some booing, as the realization sinks in—Maverick Matthews is the new TV Champion.
In the ring, Dash Diaz is on his knees, staring in disbelief at the referee, his face contorted with frustration and anger. He slams his fists on the mat, knowing that victory had been within his grasp just moments earlier. Diaz rises to his feet, storming over to the referee, pointing furiously at Maverick Matthews and the fallen James Mendoza.
Dash Diaz: “What the hell was that?! I had him! I had this match won!”
The referee tries to explain, holding up his hands in defense, but Diaz isn’t having it. He shoves the referee back, his emotions boiling over as the reality of what’s just happened sets in. Maverick Matthews, now on the outside of the ring, has a wild look in his eyes as he clutches the title close to his chest, backing up the ramp with a mix of triumph and disbelief on his face.
Matthews holds the belt high above his head, soaking in the moment as the crowd continues to react with a mixture of shock and anger. He grins, knowing he pulled off the biggest victory of his career, despite the controversy surrounding it. Meanwhile, James Mendoza, still lying on the mat, barely conscious, is completely oblivious to the chaos he’s unwittingly caused.
Diaz paces around the ring, furious, his eyes locked on Matthews, who continues to back up the ramp with the title. The commentators, Johnny Kaos and Zac Brindle, are trying to make sense of it all.
Johnny Kaos: “I can’t believe what we’ve just witnessed! Maverick Matthews is the new TV Champion, but Dash Diaz had this match won! He was about to make the cover!”
Zac Brindle: “This is absolute chaos, Johnny! Maverick Matthews scored the victory by knockout on James Mendoza, but was it the right call? Diaz has every right to be furious!”
Diaz finally steps through the ropes, pointing up the ramp at Matthews, who’s now near the entranceway, still celebrating. Diaz’s voice echoes through the arena as he yells at Matthews, who raises the belt in response, clearly taunting the former champion.
Dash Diaz: “This isn’t over, Matthews! You hear me?! This isn’t over!”
The tension is palpable as Diaz stands on the ring apron, glaring at Matthews with a look of determination in his eyes. Matthews, now at the top of the ramp, grins wickedly, knowing he’s just stolen the biggest prize of the night. He gives the belt a kiss and then holds it up one last time, basking in the moment as the fans continue to boo.
The camera cuts between the seething Diaz in the ring and the triumphant Matthews on the stage, capturing the intensity of the moment. The show goes off the air with Matthews still celebrating, and Diaz standing in the ring, his fists clenched, ready for whatever comes next. The tension between these three men is far from over, and the entire P:V roster knows that this battle for the TV Championship is only just beginning.
The screen fades to black, leaving the audience in suspense and anticipation for what will happen next week.
