The crowd cheer for the Philly Flash as he flashes a smile to the camera whilst Smith kicks the interview off.

Katie Smith: “Jacob, thanks for joining me! Now you are only moments away from a match against Money Malone to determine the #1 contender for the Las Vegas Championship. How do you rate your chances tonight?”

Jacob Izaz: “Well as you well know, I took Malone on at Vendetta last year and dominated the match before being screwed by a terrible referring decision. Tonight, I right that wrong and get my third attempt at a fair one on one match for the Las Vegas Championship…. What is that saying about third time lucky?”

Katie Smith: “Well it is sure to be a great match, but do you think there is much chance of Blood Money getting involved tonight?”

Izaz smiles at the question.

Jacob Izaz: “There is always that chance but believe me when I say I am prepared for any eventuality tonight. I will win this match, I guarantee it!”

Katie Smith: “Well you are certainly confident and I wish you will in the match, but just before we let you go, what are your thoughts on El Froggo refusing to shake your hand last week after your match on Uprising? Is he still upset that you said he didn’t deserve the Las Vegas title shot a few weeks ago?”

Izaz shrugs his shoulders.

Jacob Izaz: “I guess that is a question you will have to ask that little Mexican punk. All I can say is that it was a bitch move in my view and proved me right!”

Back to the Drawing Board

The cameras head backstage where a dejected CJ Dreamer is already showered and dressed and looks like he is leaving the arena with his case. As Dreamer walks through the corridor, Katie Smith quickly rushes after the former Tag Team Champion.

Katie Smith: “CJ, CJ. Could I get your view on your match earlier before you leave?”

Dreamer doesn’t slow down as Katie Smith tries to catch up with him.

CJ Dreamer: “My view? I’m pretty pissed off with myself if I am honest Katie…. I came back to the sVo when it reopened in 2020 and thought I would be in the main event and sVo Champion by now considering what I have done in this business between 2013 and now. But ever since Seasons Beatings 2020 and coming up short in that triple threat match when Moretti won the title, I have never got close to getting to that level again…. Even my home town crowd wanted to boo my opponent more than me tonight…..”

Katie Smith: “Any comments for those fans?”

CJ Dreamer: “I feel like I should be man, but I honestly can’t blame them…. I need to go back and see what made me successful in 2013… Back to the drawing board Katie…. I can’t go on like this.”

Dreamer pushes through the arena doors and leaves Smith behind as the scene fades out.
